• 24 chicken wings
  • Sea salt and fresh pepper
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 (12 ounce) Cheerwine
  • ⅓ cup lime juice
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • 1½ cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes

Preheat oven to 400°F. Place chicken wings on a parchment-coated baking sheet in a single layer. Sprinkle with sea salt and fresh pepper. Bake for 25–30 minutes. Meanwhile, in a stockpot over medium heat, combine coconut milk, Cheerwine, lime juice, soy sauce, 1 cup brown sugar, almond butter, chili flakes, and whisk until smooth. Remove wings from oven and ladle/spoon sauce over each wing coating fully with the mixture. Top with remaining brown sugar sprinkled on each wing. Return to oven for additional 10 minutes. Serve with reserved sauce.
