Every southerner knows The Lee Bros., Matt and Ted from Charleston, S.C. But did you know they included a couple of fantastic Cheerwine cocktails in their first cookbook? Here’s #1. And Cocktail #2 is here. Y’all drink up, now!

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce gin
  • Juice from half a lime, about ¾ ounce 
  • 6 ounces Cheerwine
  • 1½ ounces soda water

Instructions

Fill tall, 14-ounce glass with ice cubes. Add gin, squeeze lime juice in, toss lime into glass, then add Cheewine. Top with soda water and stir.

  1. This is a great showcase cocktail for any number of North Carolina Gins. I especially like it with Southern Artisan Spirits Cardinal or The Chemist South Slope Gin. This is a Summer staple for me.
