This easy crafty cocktail from Charleston’s Lenoir Restaurant gets its name from a historical Southern greeting that was derived from the tradition of waking on Christmas morning and rushing to say, “Christmas Gift!” before anyone else. The person was then greeted in return with their gift.

Ingredients

  • 1½ ounces Plantation Pineapple Rum
  • ½ ounce falernum
  • ¼ ounce amaretto
  • ½ ounce lime juice
  • Cheerwine Holiday Punch

Instructions

Mix all ingredients together in a shaking tin. Shake. Strain and serve over crushed ice in a 12-ounce rocks glass. Top with Cheerwine Holiday Punch.
