Katey Ryder at The Golden Pineapple in Asheville stirs up the holiday spirit with her Cheery Ho Ho Holiday Punch, a tantalizing mix of dark rum, bonded whiskey and tropical notes, jazzed up with Cheerwine Holiday Punch and crowned with a sprinkle of nutmeg and a mint garnish.


  • 1 oz Dark aged rum 
  • 1 oz Bonded whiskey 
  • 1 oz lime juice 
  • .5 oz pineapple juice 
  • .5 oz almond orgeat syrup
  • Cheerwine Holiday Punch to taste 
  • Grated nutmeg
  • Mint


Combine all ingredients, shake the drink with ice, dump into a tall glass of your choice and top with Cheerwine Holiday Punch.

Add grated nutmeg and mint for garnish if desired.
