Cherry twist on an old favorite. Cheerwine and Bourbon – a match made in the South. Easy to make. Easy to enjoy. 

Ingredients

  • ¾ ounce Cheerwine Syrup
  • 2 ounces rye whiskey
  • 2 dashes Angostura aromatic bitters
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • Orange peel (garnish)

Instructions

Add ice to rocks glass. Add all ingredients. Stir for 5-7 seconds to combine. Garnish with swath of orange peel, squeezed over ice, and wiped along the rim of glass.

  1. These are KILLER! Awesome fresh take on a classic drink. Note: subbed two dashes of regular bitters and a squeezed orange wedge for the orange bitters.

  2. This is awesome. I usually shake about 4 dashes of Angostura in a glass of just Cheerwine so I already knew those flavors worked well together but this cocktail takes it to a new level.
