Bar Managers Rhea Buck (Leluia Hall) and Zach Benson (Supperland) have crafted a deliciously festive cocktail for the holiday season. Rum, ginger syrup and pineapple juice enhance the soda’s tropical flavors. Umbrella garnish optional…but highly recommended.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 ounces Kill Devil Gold Rum
  • 0.5 ounces ginger syrup
  • 0.5 ounces pineapple juice
  • 0.25 ounces lime juice
  • 2–3 ounces Cheerwine Holiday Punch
  • Splash of soda water
  • Pineapple frond and lime for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine rum, ginger syrup, pineapple juice and lime juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake well and strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
  3. Top with Cheerwine Holiday Punch and a splash of soda water.
  4. Garnish with a pineapple frond and lime.
