Ingredients
Holiday Mambo No. 5
- 1 oz Spiced Cheerwine Reduction
- 1 1/2 ounces Barsol Quebranta Pisco
- 3/4 ounces Plantation Xayamaca Rum
- 1/4 ounces Demerara Syrup
- Lime wheel (garnish)
- Mint (garnish)
Spiced Cheerwine Reduction
- 32 ounces Cheerwine Holiday Punch
- 1 quarter cup brown sugar
- 3 dried hibiscus petals
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 teaspoon fennel
Instructions
For Spiced Cheerwine Reduction
Combine all ingredients into a medium pot and turn to medium heat. Let come to a simmer for 30 minutes or until the syrup has reduced in volume by half. Strain everything off and set syrup aside for mixing into cocktail.
For Cocktail
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain over crushed ice into a wine glass. Garnish with a lime wheel and mint
