Created by David Kidwell of High Hail Rooftop Bar in Chattanooga, Tennessee the Holiday Highball is a fun holiday twist on the classic highball cocktail. Playing on the refreshing punch notes of Cheerwine Holiday Punch with the addition of smooth vanilla and tangy grapefruit. The drink’s brightness from fresh lime brings together an easy and delicious holiday highball.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ ounce Bacardi 8 year Rum
- ¼ ounce Salted Vanilla Turbinado Syrup
- ¼ ounce Lime Juice
- 1 dash of Bittermans Hopped Grapefruit Bitters
- 1 Cheerwine Holiday Punch
- Convenient Cocktail Scarlet Apple
Instructions
- Combine the rum, salted vanilla turbinado syrup, lime juice and hopped grapefruit bitters in an ice-filled cocktail shaker.
- Shake vigorously until well chilled.
- Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
- Top with Cheerwine Holiday Punch.
- Garnish with a Convenient Cocktail Scarlet Apple.
