What goes better with Cheerwine than a Blackstone griddle to whip up these tasty breakfast sandwiches on from our friend and recipe creator TheHungryHussey?!
Ingredients
- Packaged Pancake Mix of choice
- Milk
- 1 pound ground sausage
- Cheerwine Syrup
- Eggs
- Cheese of choice
- Butter
- Cooking Spray
- Maple Syrup
Instructions
- Mix pancake mix according to box instructions. If needed, add milk as needed to create a thinner batter.
- In a squirt bottle, add Cheerwine Syrup to Maple Syrup (measure with your heart).
- In a bowl, add your sausage and then mix in about 2 tablespoons of Cheerwine Syrup and mix together until well combined. Shape patties from the mixture and then fry on medium-low heat until done. Set aside on a plate.
- Using ring molds, spray with cooking spray and place a small amount of pancake batter in, fill about half way.
- Place a sausage patty onto the pancake mix and then top with more pancake batter to cover. Flip stuffed pancake to cook the other side.
- Add butter to griddle and cook eggs to your liking. Top with cheese.
- Build your sandwich with sausage stuffed pancake, egg with cheese and then top with another pancake “bun”.
- Dip into your syrup mixture or drizzle syrup mixture over the top and enjoy!
