Calling all meatball lovers! Try out this new addition, Cheerwine Chipotle BBQ meatballs from our friends at NC Eat & Play.
Ingredients
Cheerwine BBQ Sauce
- 12 ounces Cheerwine
- 5 ounces molasses
- 6 ounces brown sugar
- 10 ounces tomato-based bbq sauce
- 2 ounces distilled white vinegar
Cheerwine Chipotle BBQ Meatballs
- 12 ounces Cheerwine
- 5 ounces molasses
- 6 ounces brown sugar
- 10 ounces tomato-based bbq sauce
- 2 ounces distilled white vinegar
Instructions
- Add all sauce ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring often. Let cook for a few minutes more and then remove from heat.
- Add the meatballs, Cheerwine BBQ sauce, cherry jelly, and chipotle sauce to a 4-5 quart slow-cooker.
- Stir to cover the meatballs with the sauce.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
