Looking for something fancy without too much fuss? These Cheerwine Balsamic Crostini are just the ticket – yum!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tablespoon Cheerwine Syrup
  • 46 ounces of goat cheese, softened
  • 20 pieces crostinis
  • 1 cup frozen pitted cherries, thawed and drained
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons candied walnuts
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop the cherries.
  2. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine cherries, vinegar, rosemary, and brown sugar.
  3. Bring to a gentle boil while stirring occasionally.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low and allow some of the liquid to reduce (about 5 min).
  5. Add the Cheerwine syrup and stir to combine. Remove from heat and let cool.
  6. Evenly spread the goat cheese on crostini. Top with room temperature Cheerwine Balsamic sauce.
  7. Top with candied walnuts and garnish with fresh rosemary. Enjoy!
