Created by Conner Putnam of UP on the Roof in Greenville, South Carolina, UP to Snow Good brings a little mischief to the merry season with Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, toasted coconut syrup and a festive splash of Cheerwine Holiday Punch. Garnished with a brûléed lemon wheel and a rosemary sprig reminiscent of a tiny Christmas tree, it’s holiday cheer with just enough naughty-list energy.

Ingredients

  • ½ ounce Liber & Co. Toasted Coconut Syrup
  • 1½ ounces Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka
  • Cheerwine Holiday Punch, to top
  • Garnish: Brûléed lemon wheel and fresh rosemary sprig

Instructions

Cocktail

  1. Combine the vodka and coconut syrup in an ice-filled cocktail shaker.
  2. Shake vigorously until well chilled.
  3. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice using a Hawthorne strainer.
  4. Top with Cheerwine Holiday Punch, allowing it to naturally layer over the cocktail.
  5. Garnish with a brûléed lemon wheel and a sprig of fresh rosemary.
  6. Add a decorative Christmas bauble for an optional festive touch.

Brûléed Lemon Wheel

  1. Slice a fresh lemon into thin, even wheels, approximately ¼ inch thick.
  2. Pat the lemon wheels dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  3. Lightly sprinkle one side of each lemon wheel with granulated sugar.
  4. Using a kitchen torch, carefully heat the sugar until it melts, caramelizes and develops a golden-brown crust.
  5. Allow the lemon wheels to cool for 1–2 minutes until the sugar hardens.
