A Caribbean-meets-holiday highball where dark rum and silky orgeat meet chai spice, lifted by Cheerwine Holiday Punch and finished with an orange–cherry flag. Courtesy of Jacob Minnick of Bitters Social House in Greensboro, N.C.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Goslings Dark Rum
  • 6 oz Cheerwine Holiday Punch
  • .5 oz Orgeat
  • 6 drops chaiwalla bitters

Instructions

  • In a mixing glass, add dark rum, orgeat, and Chaiwalla bitters with ice; stir until chilled.
  • Strain into a rocks or Collins glass over fresh ice.
  • Top with Cheerwine Holiday Punch and give a gentle 2–3 turn stir to combine.
  • Garnish with an orange/cherry flag.
