Ingredients
- 6–8 thick cut pork chops
- 2–4 cups Cheerwine
- 2 cups water
- ¼ – ½ cup mayo
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- BBQ sauce of choice, or try our Cackalacky Cheerwine Sweet Sauce!
Instructions
- Place pork chops in a gallon bag and pour Cheerwine and water over pork chops to marinate for an hour (or longer up to overnight).
- Remove chops from bag and rest on sheet pan. Blot meat with paper towels.
- Brush chops with mayo. Mix seasonings together and sprinkle over chops evenly.
- Set your grill to indirect cooking and cook your chops low and slow until almost done (around 125ºF)
- Brush or dunk chops into your favorite BBQ sauce every 10 minutes
- Set grill to direct cooking and finish the chops over direct heat until they reach internal temperature 140ºF.
- Remove chops and let rest for about 5-10 minutes and serve with extra BBQ sauce. Enjoy!
